The Ministry of Labour and Skills (MoLS), in partnership with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), has officially unveiled Ethiopia’s Public Services Innovation (PSI) Lab a groundbreaking facility designed to promote creativity, collaboration, and innovation within the public sector.
The Lab is equipped with modern co-creation and ideation rooms, research and prototyping spaces, storytelling areas, and a 3D printing facility established to support the development of forward-thinking solutions to public service challenges.
Her Excellency Muferihat Kamil, Minister of Labour and Skills, visited the Lab today alongside senior government officials. The visit took place during the “Innovation for Development Breakfast” (I4DB), co-hosted by MoLS and EDI under the theme “From Systems Thinking to Future-Ready.”
Speaking during the visit, H.E. Muferihat Kamil emphasized that although the Lab is not yet open to the public, it is set to become a key platform for institutional innovation and transformative problem-solving in Ethiopia.
