Ugandan Delegation Praises Ethiopia's Women Entrepreneurship Success

A high-level delegation from Uganda's  (GROW) project recently concluded a highly successful visit to Ethiopia, expressing profound appreciation for the valuable insights gained from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) and its flagship Women Entrepreneurship Development Project (WEDP).

The Ugandan team delved deep into Ethiopia's proven model for empowering women entrepreneurs, visiting thriving women-led businesses in manufacturing and services, and engaging in productive discussions with EDI's top management and World Bank representatives.

They also met with the Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) and One Stop Services Center (OSS) to understand the crucial institutional collaborations that underpin WEDP's success.
