World Refugee Day | Standing in Solidarity

Today, on #WorldRefugeeDay, we proudly echo this year’s theme, “Solidarity with Refugees,” reaffirming EDI’s unwavering commitment to empowering refugee entrepreneurs and dismantling the barriers they face.

In line with this commitment, EDI recently entered into a tripartite agreement with the FDRE Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS) and Inkomoko Ethiopia to drive meaningful initiatives that benefit both refugee and host communities.

It is also worth recalling that during Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2024, EDI honored Mrs. Sahar Fuad with the “Promising Refugee Entrepreneur of the Year” award recognizing her remarkable journey and impact.
