A TVT Realized Its Dream For Transformation With Nearly a Dozen Enterprises

Aleta Wondo Polytechnic College in the Sidama region has accomplished achievements in TVT entrepreneurialization thanks to the EDI-led SEED program in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation.
The college

  • Established 10 new businesses: including a cafe , laundry, bakery, and printing center.
  • Created an incubation center: Supporting student entrepreneurs.
  • Inspired staff to become entrepreneurs themselves.
  • Become an invaluable resource for other TVTs in the area

    • In addition to creating jobs, these businesses have started generating revenue. EDI provided expert guidance, training, and mentorship, demonstrating how innovation and entrepreneurship can transform institutions and communities.
