BISHOFTU, Ethiopia — The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), in collaboration with the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC), concluded a high-level executive Master Class in February 2026 designed to sharpen the strategic trajectory of Ethiopia's industrial leadership.

The intensive program, "Shaping the Future through Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation," gathered senior executives in Bishoftu to embed agile, innovation-led methodologies into the core of the IPDC. As a public enterprise tasked with advancing Ethiopia's industrialization through integrated infrastructure, the IPDC is currently evolving its leadership model toward the active orchestration of a vibrant economic environment.

Participants engaged in a comprehensive megatrend analysis, examining global and regional forces poised to disrupt corporate leadership over the next decade. This foresight-driven approach enabled executives to evaluate organizational readiness and develop disruption-proof guidance, ensuring the corporation remains resilient amidst emerging industrial challenges.

Central to the workshop was the practical application of design and systems thinking. Moving beyond isolated problem-solving, leaders learned to visualize complex organizational dynamics as interconnected feedback loops.
