Incubation Program Installation in TVTs and Universities

EDI is supporting Technical and Vocational Training (TVTs) and Universities to become dynamic entrepreneurial entities by institutionalizing the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation across their systems and developing and nurturing system-based entrepreneurship ecosystem within their respective social, cultural and economic environment settings.

We anchored the process of embedding entrepreneurship and innovation within these institutions into four key entrepreneurial learning factors.

Enabling Institutional Environment

EDI provides a 6-days public entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem building program to the management staff of the TVT colleges and Universities to help them create structure, process and programs enablers for the emergence and sustaining of entrepreneurial venture within and outside their systems.

Ecosystem Building, Entrepreneurship Research, Collaboration and Learning

Here we champion multiple helix approaches- leveraging institutional collaboration and platform, accelerating TVT and University linkages and collaborations with corporates, incubators, accelerators, Science and industrial Parks, and sharing resources and knowledge, and undertaking entrepreneurship researches and policy dialogues- to build vibrant local Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.

Embedding Entrepreneurship education in the learning systems

We deliver series of entrepreneurship capacity building programs including TOTs for the TVT and University trainers, instructors and staff to create cadres of entrepreneurship and innovation who embrace and embed an entrepreneurial approach to education and learning.

Entrepreneurship Development Pathway: From Idea to Enterprise

We collaborate with TVT colleges and Universities to install end-to-end usable and scalable entrepreneurship support programs (training, BDS, incubation, and accelerator programs) for ambitious and existing entrepreneurs, design and implement strategies, structure, process, and guidelines for successful incubation and startup programs, and build and manage the incubation space and infrastructure.
